Laptop Model: Acer E5-474G
Fault : Does Not Turned On
Repair Process :
Plug in the
maintenance power supply and the current will be displayed as shown below:
Pictures of the Motherboard:
If there is no response, then check first to see if 3V and 5V are coming out. The result is that they are not. Because the common points are not exposed, there will be no 3V and 5V.
I checked the circuit diagram:
Here is no 19V voltage on the S
pole of PQ304. I checked and the resistance to ground was zero. It seems that
this is a common point short circuit fault. This seems so familiar.
I thought of a way to
connect a line from the D pole of PQ303 to a key switch to the S pole of PQ304,
adjust the power supply to 1.0V, the current is about 0.5A, and use my left
index finger as a temperature sensor to switch the entire circuit board I
touched all the components in the sensitive area, and after touching for a long
time, I didn't feel any abnormal temperature.
Then the voltage was adjusted to 1.5V. At this time, the current rose to 0.8A. There was no abnormality in the CPU and independent graphics chip. This was a great blessing. Suddenly, my index finger felt hot. As shown in the picture:
The capacitor in the red circle was dead. After replacement, the power
was turned on normally, the test functions were all normal, and the repair was
completed.
Happy Repairing !!
